Special 3-day program with Urban Adventure Squad and Casey Trees!

Kingman Island Stewards: Protect Your Local Park
Become a Kingman Island Steward!!
Casey Trees and Urban Adventure Squad are teaming up for this morning program at D.C.'s Kingman and Heritage Islands. Over three days from 8:30-11:30am, educators from Casey Trees and Urban Adventure Squad will guide rising 4th and 5th grade students on morning hikes to explore the islands and recognize the importance of protecting natural spaces. Students will participate in outdoor learning activities like tree, bird, and insect identification, an urban heat island investigation, and a bark spotters craft to learn about the plants and animals who need healthy green spaces and rivers to survive. We'll build up to a paddling adventure on Thursday, joining forces with Living Classrooms' Green Boats program, to clean up litter from the river while paddling kayaks and canoes! Dive into environmental learning and earn your Kingman Island Stewards certification with Casey Trees and Urban Adventure Squad!

HOW TO REGISTER
Returning UAS families CLICK HERE to log into your UltraCamp account and register.

NEW families: Welcome! Follow the steps below to create an account and register for summer programs.
1. CLICK HERE to create a new account.
Please note: Now that we're in a new calendar year, our registration system asks for your student's grade "in fall of 2026." Summer registration generally goes by the "rising" grade, or the student's grade in fall of the next school year. When asked for your child's grade in fall of 2026, you would (for example) select 4th grade for your current 3rd grade student. This would let the system know they are currently in 3rd grade and UltraCamp will automatically graduate them to 4th grade in June.
2. CLICK "MAKE A RESERVATION"
3. SCROLL DOWN AND SELECT THE SESSION(S) OF YOUR CHOICE
4. COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION

Please note: A minimum of 15 registered students by June 28 is needed in order to run this program.

Refund Policy
For this special 3-day program, we can offer a full refund until June 27. Beginning on June 28, we are unable to offer a refund. We can provide a credit in the amount you paid to go toward any future program.

Waitlists
We are opening just 20 spaces for this special program. If it fills up, there is an option to add your student to the waitlist. If space becomes available, you'll receive an email offering you a spot, which will be held for just 48 hours. We prioritize wait-listed siblings so that all siblings from a family can get into the same program.
